The Presence of Edcation in the Experience of Postmodern Individual

The aim of the study is to analyze the presence of broadly understood education for family life in personal experience against the backdrop of postmodernity. The authoress analyzes the content of some messages emitted by selected agencies of socialization and presents the results of her own research carried out in 2014 among 50 women and men living in different types of local environment, having different levels of education, and being married for no longer than 24 months. The results suggest that knowledge about marriage and marital roles seems to young married people neither necessary nor attractive, and education and the process of education for family life and performing social roles face an entirely new challenge for them.
